Gotham Renewed for Season 4

Gotham has officially received a season 4 renewal, FOX announced today. The series, telling the story of a young James Gordon fighting back the darkness of Gotham City as a teenaged Bruce Wayne begins to shape himself into the man who will be Batman. The series has been a consistant ratings earner for FOX, as it continues to get deeper into Batman mythos.

Season three of Gotham has expanded the world with new villains and heroes, and continues to move Bruce Wayne forward. This year saw David Mazouz, now fifteen (he was 11 when cast), get a personal trainer, while his character deals with the secret organization the Court of Owls, a doppelganger, and puberty all at once.

Gotham keeps DC Comics based TV’s streak alive, as all four series on The CW, SupergirlArrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow all receieved new seasons in the last week. WBTV also has Powerless coming to NBC, Lucifer on FOX, as well as other shows in active development for FOX, Syfy, and more.

Gotham airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Gotham stars Ben McKenzie as Jim Gordon, now just a police detective, alongside Donal Logue, David Mazouz, Robin Lord Taylor, Erin Richards, Sean Pertwee, Camren Bicondova, Cory Michael Smith, Drew Powell, Morena Baccarin, Jessica Lucas, and Chris Chalk.
